“Compassion and hard work are two things that are difficult to find in organizations today. These are two things I already know are quintessential to the success of Ward Law Offices.”
Steven J. Gramza, Associate Attorney, Ward Law Offices, LLC
Steven Gramza grew up the son of a small business owner, and his undergraduate studies were in business administration. Steven initially thought business law would be the best fit for his skill set; but after he was presented with an opportunity to begin working at a family law firm his last year of law school, he learned what it meant to find the “perfect fit.” He soon discovered that family law was where he wanted to spend his time practicing.
Steven says that most family law issues involve very stressful moments in people’s lives and “being a family law attorney allows me to meet people who are in those valleys of life, and help them navigate their way out.”
Gramza’s business studies have been very helpful in the accounting and property division sides of family law. Frequently, clients have businesses that have to be valued, divided and sometimes dissolved. His business background allows him to assist clients through this process, or, in the very least, research the necessary steps.
“I am excited to work with Lynn and her team because they, like myself, are passionate about helping others,” Steven said. “Compassion and hard work are two things that are difficult to find in organizations today. These are two things I already know are quintessential to the success of Ward Law Offices.”
Steven received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2014 where he was the recipient of the Legal Excellence Scholarship and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award. In addition, Steven was selected for the 2014 Federal Litigation Internship and served as Research Assistant for the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law.
A Kansas native, Steven grew up in Olathe and attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, where he received his BA in Business Administration and Music. His entire immediate family lives in Wichita. When not practicing law, Steven enjoys performing and practicing music including bass guitar, double bass, and acoustic guitar. He loves whitewater kayaking, camping, mountain biking, as well as serving others through missions and Christian outreach events. Steven and his wife are expecting their first child this fall.
Steven is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Florida.
